Coates Apartment

Glendower Place, London, 2016

Coates has lived here since being a student, and it has evolved continuously over this period, providing a testing ground for many of the ideas subsequently applied to shops, interiors and exhibitions. Being on a first floor and spreading around a corner, its full-length windows make the most of the high ceilings and grand rooms. Its three interlinked rooms provide space to relax, read and eat, as well as being the perfect backdrop for many contemporary furniture designs, including the Back to Back sofa, Sloop chandelier and tables designed for various projects in Japan. Newcomers include the Domo table and Headsup glasses.
