Genie Stool

This was the most playful of a whole series of sandblasted timber pieces designed by Coates in the late 80s. The Genie exploits it small size with its unadulterated erotic forms. A hipbone provides the seat, while the phallus stops you from sliding forward. You sit astride the stool in such a way that your own legs become part of the structure.
