Frontline

Paddington, London, 2021

The restaurant a the Frontline Club in Paddington has been given a complete overhaul by Nigel Coates and award-winning architects Skene Catling del Pena. Within a 19th century building originally owned by Hackney Carriage company, the design is tailored to compliment the old building and to merge with the contemporary spirit of our furniture. The restaurant re-opens with a mezzanine level reached by a curved polished chrome stair. A monolithic bar carved from a single block of stone forms a sculptural centrepiece on the ground floor. The clean lines of green banquettes combine with the graphics silhouette of the Potentino II chairs by Nigel Coates.
