Tryst

A family of two tables and one chair – called Tryst – is produced in an edition of 12 pieces, and is Nigel Coates’ first limited edition design. “The group share the same DNA,” says Coates, “but with different shapes, heights and sizes.” The chair’s back is created from a wave while the two tables combine their planes into a single surface. The three pieced do not jigsaw together precisely, but make a harmonious interlocking group that emphasises their overall wave-like character.
