These impressive and artfully illuminated sculptures were devised specially for the Barocco E Neobarocco festival in Ragusa, Sicily in 2024. They are realised as a pair with five layers of Plexiglass the outer pair of which are partially reflective. This special technique together with the continuous LED strips generates a subtle effect of infinite reflection. The heavy base and transformer are contained in a circular brass cover. The many stainless screws used to seal the Plexiglass are plated in pure gold. The intensity of the light strip is operated by remote control.
